Contract to hire opportunity for an experienced Solutions Architect in the financial services industry.
Client requirements:
- Hybrid onsite: 2-3 days/week
- W2 only. No C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorship
- Work authorization requirements: US Citizen or GC holder
What you'll do: As a technical, delivery-focused IT Capability Architect you will lead architecture and roadmap development for Life & Annuities platforms—primarily ALIP and related policy administration systems. This role combines solution architecture, program oversight, and team coaching, supporting quarterly release trains in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.
- Own capability roadmaps and architectural direction for ALIP.
- Lead delivery execution and oversee downstream system integration.
- Mentor Solution Architects and elevate Agile & product-centric practices.
- Develop architecture standards, models, and target states.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture, engineering teams, and business leaders.
- Drive capability maturation and evaluate new technology solutions.
What you bring:
- 11 years in insurance/financial technology with policy admin systems (ALIP, OIPA, FAST, Guidewire, Majesco, etc.).
- Strong integration architecture background.
- Experience leading teams and large-scale delivery.
- Bachelor’s required; Master’s preferred.
- SQL knowledge a plus.

The W2 pay range for this type of role is approximately $65.00 - $85.00 per billable hour. This range is an estimate and not a guarantee of compensation.
