What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer position at ITP (International Talent Partnership)?
I'm currently partnering with a leading precision manufacturing business, that is looking to strengthen its Quality team with the appointment of a Quality Engineer at its AS9100-certified facility in Danbury, CT.
This is an opportunity to join a business that manufactures highly engineered electroformed components for the aerospace, defense, medical and industrial sectors.
You'll play a key role in ensuring products and manufacturing processes meet the highest quality standards while supporting continuous improvement, customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
The successful individual will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Suppliers and Customers to improve manufacturing quality, investigate non-conformances, support audits, and maintain compliance with AS9100 and customer-specific requirements.
We're particularly interested in speaking with Quality Engineers who have experience within:
• Aerospace, Defense, Medical Device or Regulated Manufacturing
• AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• First Article Inspection (AS9102)
• Root Cause Analysis & Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA/RCCA)
• Internal, Process and Compliance Audits
• Engineering Drawings & Technical Specifications
• Supplier Quality & Continuous Improvement
• Manufacturing Quality Systems
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
• Customer-Facing Quality Support
This position would suit someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working closely with manufacturing teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring world-class quality standards are consistently achieved across production.
