About the Role:
The Vice President & Department Leader is a senior role responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to a key department within the organization. Works closely with the Trading divisions and the subsidiaries/affiliate’s financial team. Monitor and oversee the accounting activities of the Trading divisions and subsidiaries. Assist the SVP & Controller/GM in carrying out the division’s strategic goals and plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
- CPA
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Should have 20 years of progressive leadership experience in a relevant industry.
- Experience in strategic financial planning/management, M&A, financial audits, credit risk management, change management and financial controls.
- Proven track record of managing large teams and complex projects successfully.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
- Experience leading departments within a multinational or large-scale organization.
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation and innovation initiatives.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
- Professional certifications in leadership, project management, or relevant technical areas.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Trading division’s financial and management accounting and analysis process. Reviewing and approving significant accounting transactions.
- Provides on-site M&A support around Post Merger Integration of the newly acquired entity. This includes pre/post-acquisition support, opening balance sheet review and assessment, Purchase Price allocation and valuation.
- Direct and manages the Trading division’s consolidated financial close process by working with Corporate Accounting and the Financial Reporting Departments.
- Serve on the Board of Directors on selected subsidiaries. Monitor and oversee the financial risks and activities of the subsidiaries and/or affiliates. Provide guidance to the subsidiary executive management team and report to III management
- Assist the Controller in monitoring the subsidiaries and affiliates, performing financial analysis and using a risk-based approach and focusing on key metrics. Responsible for performing reviews of III’s subsidiaries’ financials including internal controls.
- Research new accounting pronouncements and analyze their impact on the Trading Division’s subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Lead and develop the Divisional Accounting team as well as assist the Controller in the implementation of the division’s strategic goals and special projects and future secondment to III’s subsidiary/affiliate.

Salary : $215,000 - $235,000
