Job Title: Oracle Product Data Hub Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH) Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise Product Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, data governance teams, and technical teams to ensure high-quality, standardized, and governed product data across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities:
· Lead or support implementation and enhancement of Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH-PIM).
· Gather and analyse business requirements related to Item Master, Product Lifecycle, Naming Standards, and Attributes.
· Configure Item Classes, Item Attributes, Value Sets, and UOMs.
· Define and implement Product Data Governance, including approval workflows and change management.
· Support Product Creation, Enrichment, and Publication processes.
· Collaborate with business users for data cleansing, de-duplication, and data migration.
· Develop functional documentation:
o Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
o Functional Design Documents (FDD)
o Configuration documents and user guides
· Conduct user training and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Technical & Integration Responsibilities:
· Work with technical teams on PDH integrations with:
o Oracle EBS modules (Inventory, BOM, PO, OM)
o Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
o External systems (PLM, ERP, legacy systems)
· Support data conversions/migrations using FBDI, Web Services, APIs, or Open Interface tables.
· Validate PDH setups with reports, BI tools, and reconciliation checks.
· Assist in production support, issue analysis, and resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Core PDH Skills:
· 5 years of experience with Oracle Product Data Hub (PDH / PIM).
· Strong understanding of:
o Item Master & Item Classes
o Product Attributes & Structures
o Lifecycle Phases & Item Statuses
o Change Orders & Approval Workflows
· Experience in Product Master Data Governance (MDM) concepts.
Oracle Skills:
· Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM (PIM/PDH).
· Knowledge of related modules:
o Inventory (INV)
o Bills of Material (BOM)
o Purchasing (PO)
o Order Management (OM)
· Familiarity with FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, and data integrations.
