What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Designer Drafting Instructor-Evenings Part time position at ITI Technical College?
We are seeking a Drafting Instructor to become an integral part of our team! You will educate and mentor students from various backgrounds who are seeking to become Draftspersons, Engineering Technicians, Drafting Operators and Drafting Designers.
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses within the curriculum of the Drafting and Design platform such as:
- Computer Aided Drafting
- study of pictorial drawing techniques
- graphic engineering data
Methodology:
- Understanding and solving engineering problems
- Demonstrating engineering problems
- Lecturing in lab environment
- Lecturing in a remote environment setting
- Learning industry standards as they apply to the discipline
Qualifications:
- Must have minimum 3 years' experience in the above stated drafting field
- Previous experience in the piping drafting discipline area
- Experience with CAD software
- Industry training and / or education documents
Work Schedule:
The classes are taught Evenings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Evening sessions are taught 5:30pm til 9:30pm.
