Job title: Health Aide
Location: 1915 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah, GA, 31406
Shift: 7am 7.30 pm-7pm 7:30 am
Job Responsibilities:
· Answers clients call signals
· Assists in administration of medications and treatments, takes vital signs, and/or draws blood or collects other bodily fluids, as directed by a physician or nurse
· Bathes, grooms, shaves and dresses clients
· Conducts activities for recreation and socialization
· Ensures safety and security of clients
· Feeds clients who are unable to feed themselves
· Observes and documents patient data, behaviour and activity
· Prepares clients for treatment or examination
· Provides clients with help walking, exercising, and moving in and out of bed
· Transports and/or accompanies clients to treatment units, using a wheelchair or stretcher
· Receives additional training, as required, to gain full proficiency and experience in all areas.
Minimum Requirements:
· High school diploma or GED and 2 years of continuous experience providing basic patient care in psychiatric healthcare is required.
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and have the strength to push and pull and stand for long periods of time.
· Current Life Saver Certification is required.

Pay: Up to $47.36 per hour
