What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Itera Mobility Engineering?
At Itera Mobility Engineering, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Evansville, IN. Responsible for keeping key assets operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen.
Main functions to develop:
- Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems on machines.
- Perform predictive precision maintenance to identify and correct mechanical/electrical defects before machines fail
- Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels and meet customer demands
- Work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
- Perform work at heights, around hazardous chemicals, confined spaces, etc.
- Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participating in safety program
- Help meet or exceed production, waste, and quality goals through a quality maintenance program
Requirements:
- 1 year experience with predictive or preventative maintenance systems
- 1 year experience with electrical troubleshooting
- 1 year Industrial maintenance
What will put you ahead:
- 2 years electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to isolate a circuit
- 2 years experience using a multimeter
- 2 years with Industrial maintenance
- Associate degree or higher in an electrical/mechanical or electro-mechanical field
- Supervisory experience
