Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Production team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and managing various aspects of trade shows, conferences, and corporate events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, and must have proficiency in AutoCAD for creating layouts and construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows and events from start to finish, including timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination.
AutoCAD Design:
Create and modify event layouts, booth structures, floor plans, construction drawings, and exhibit designs using AutoCAD. Ensure that designs are aligned with client specifications and event logistics.
Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison:
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, exhibitors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Act as the main point of contact for logistical arrangements and issue resolution.
Event Setup & Execution:
Coordinate event set-up, including booth construction, equipment installation, and troubleshooting. Ensure that all event elements are executed as planned, and handle any on-site challenges that arise.
Budget & Cost Management:
Assist with managing event budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure events are executed within budget constraints.
Timeline Management:
Develop and manage detailed project timelines for all event-related tasks, ensuring deadlines are met for the design, fabrication, and setup phases.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality of materials, signage, booth designs, and overall presentation during events. Address issues related to the design and execution of the event to maintain brand integrity.
Post-Event Evaluation:
Assist in the evaluation and debriefing of events, gathering feedback to improve processes for future projects.
Qualifications:
Education:
Training/experience in Event Management, Project Management, Architecture, Construction, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in project management, event coordination, or a similar role. Experience in trade shows and corporate events is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Mandatory Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating event layouts and booth designs. Familiarity with other design software (Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) is a bonus.
Project Management Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with both internal and external partners.
