Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient conditions and document changes accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on care plans and health management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Advocate for patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications & Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- BLS/ACLS certification as required by the facility
- Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree
- Experience in hospital, acute care, or specialty units
- Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
Work Environment
- Hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health settings
- May require standing, lifting, and assisting patients
