##### **JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Manage and assist in the operation of the Integrated Library System (ILS) and serve as the primary point of contact for system-related issues; Maintain statistical reports on cataloging, acquisitions, collections, etc in the ILS system, Atrium.
- Manage electronic library resources - Maintain links for the library's electronic resources, provide technical support and statistics for database usage.
- Perform original and copy cataloging for material in all formats following MARC standards, LC Subject Headings, and LC Classification; familiar with OCLC WorldCat.
- Plan and teach library instruction, information literacy classes and/or workshops, both virtual and in person, for students, faculty and other patrons
- Assist library patrons via in person and/or virtual with reference questions, book selections and computer applications
- Provide basic hardware/software technical support, including troubleshooting for students, faculty and staff.
- Confer with faculty and staff in determining library needs
- Assist in selection and processing of books, periodicals, software, equipment and office supplies
- Assist in end-of-year inventory of all library materials and equipment
- Participate in staff meetings, serve on committees and participate in other college activities as determined by college administration
- Maintain professional growth and development to foster and create scholarly production according to college and personal needs
- Maintain professional working relationships with students, fellow faculty members, administration and staff, adhering to the highest standards of respect for the rights of others
- Participate in community/professional service activities and serve in selected activities as the need arises
- Assume other special responsibilities as assigned by the Director of the Libraries
- Assist other departments as needed
- Be available to work all campus locations as needed. Evening hours are required.
