Duties And Responsibilities
- Teach assigned courses in support of the Instructional Support Services program
- Support ICC's ACCESS Program through teaching, advising, and student outreach
- Mentor and advise students regarding up-to-date academic matters, college services, and matters relating to student success
- Conduct consultations with students regarding their instructional support needs
- Develop plans to best support students needing instructional support
- Prepare accurate semester reports for Instructional Support Services
- Schedule and maintain office hours according to college policy
- Maintain a safe environment conducive to student learning
- Participate in staff meetings, serve on committees, and participate in other college-related activities
- Maintain professional growth and development to foster scholarly production according to college and personal needs
- Maintain professional working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration, while adhering to the highest standards of respect for the rights of others
- Assure confidentiality of student records to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Perform other duties consistent with the position as requested by the Director of Instructional Services
