Duties and Responsibilities
A Concrete Laborer is responsible for performing every step in the construction of concrete surfaces, such as floors, sidewalks, patio slabs, driveways and curbs.
- Creating forms that will guide the pouring of a concrete surface
- Spreading poured concrete to fill forms evenly
- Smoothing surfaces and adding textures as needed
- Removing excess concrete
- Treating finished concrete with waterproofing sealants, hardening agents and other substances
- Polishing dried concrete to enhance its texture and appearance
- Installing construction elements, such as steel plates and anchor bolts, in concrete
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
