Senior Network Engineer

Introduction:

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for supporting multiple global LAN/WAN initiatives and providing L3 support for a global network spanning 130 countries and 240 sites. This individual will assist with engineering and troubleshooting activities across LAN/WAN, including switching, routing, firewall management, wireless configuration, and NAC deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Configuring and supporting enterprise WAN environments
• Assisting with day-to-day engineering activities such as switching, routing, firewall rule management, and wireless upgrades
• Managing firewall requests, upgrades, and policy updates
• Collaborating with team members on network projects
• Providing L3 support for global network issues

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 7 years of enterprise Cisco WAN/LAN configuration and engineering experience
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and Spanning Tree Protocol
• Firewall troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Checkpoint or Palo Alto firewalls

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9000 series for switches, APs, and wireless controllers
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
• Familiarity with Cisco IOS XE
• Experience with ServiceNow, Logic Monitor, and Netbrain
