Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, and resolving hardware and software issues. This role requires a strong customer service orientation and the ability to troubleshoot various IT-related problems efficiently. This position will be located onsite at our office in Evansville, IN.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for computer hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution for users.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues and ensure secure remote access for users.
- Utilize N-able for tracking support requests and managing incidents effectively.
- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve application-related problems.
- Manage computer systems and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all support interactions in ticketing systems for future reference.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
- Provide Onsite support when necessary
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT support or a related field, with a strong understanding of computer hardware and operating systems.
- Extensive Microsoft 365 admin experience (Entra, Intune, Defender etc)
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with VPN technologies and troubleshooting methods.
- Proficient in using N-able for issue tracking and remote management.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
- Experience in computer management and maintaining IT infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
