Position Summary
The Trauma Program Manager plays a central role in coordinating all aspects of trauma patient care and ensuring the trauma program meets clinical, regulatory, and performance standards. This is a blend of leadership, analytics, trauma education, and hands-on clinical involvement.
You’ll oversee trauma operations, support nursing and medical teams, maintain quality benchmarks, and drive ongoing improvements within the trauma program.
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations of the trauma program and collaborate with hospital leadership.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality trauma care across all patient phases.
- Oversee trauma data management and quality improvement metrics.
- Provide education, training, and competency development for staff involved in trauma care.
- Monitor patient outcomes and support performance improvement initiatives.
- Participate in planning, budgeting, and regulatory readiness for trauma services.
Qualifications
Education:
- BSN preferred.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of Emergency or Critical Care experience.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Active California RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- ENPC
- TNCC
