Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Roseland, New Jersey (On-Site; Hybrid Eligible After 1 Year)
Must-Haves:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar license (required)
- Minimum 3 years of litigation experience in New Jersey
- Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
- Excellent oral advocacy and client interaction skills
- Ability to independently manage cases and deadlines while collaborating effectively with a team
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in municipal, redevelopment, land use, or public sector litigation
- Prior experience handling labor and employment disputes
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving municipal law, redevelopment, tax exemption, and labor/employment litigation
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and discovery documents
- Represent clients at depositions, court conferences, hearings, and administrative proceedings
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on complex and high-profile matters
- Provide strategic legal support and client counseling
- Attend and actively participate in day and evening client meetings and public hearings
