Position: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Overview:

we are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support the design, implementation, and migration of its server environment into a secure segmented framework. This role is essential to the agency's modernization and cyber security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement physical/virtual server environments.
• Manage hybrid Active Directory (on-prem and Azure AD) and Group Policy.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Ensure systems meet CIS, NIST, HIPAA, CJIS, and CDC security standards.
• Provide Tier 3 support and contribute to disaster recovery efforts.
• Maintain documentation and report progress to leadership.

Required Skills:

• 3–5 years in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Citrix, enterprise backups, and DR strategies.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure virtualization, Microsoft Intune, Quest KACE.
• Linux administration, SAN/NAS (Hitachi), networking (CCNA preferred).
• Experience with AI-driven infrastructure optimization.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certifications: CCNA preferred.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
