Job Title Engineering Technician (TS/SCI)

Job Functions
A polygraph examination is required due to program clearance requirements.
Execute fabrication, assembly, integration, test, or inspection as: Optical Fiber Splicing and Recoating, Fabrication, assembly, and inspection of photonic circuits, Mechanical Builds and Assemblies, Metal Soldering, Microscopy and Profilometry.
Experience with machining parts with standard tooling and shop equipment.
Integration of COTS optical equipment (power meters & monitoring equipment, optical laser sources, etc.) per detailed architecture block diagrams and wiring diagrams.
Assistance with equipment calibration in accordance with vender or custom calibration procedures.
Ensure preventative maintenance is performed regularly in accordance with documentation.
Maintain and operate wire bonding, photomasking, epoxy application for optical device fabrication.
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, workspace organization, and reliability.
Experience with precision building and assembly operations.
Qualifications
6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years exp with a BA Degree
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
