windows Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Windows Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Windows administration and advanced PowerShell scripting. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building automation, managing modern Windows environments, and supporting lab-based infrastructure. This role requires a local candidate who can be onsite when lab work is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server and client environments, including Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced PowerShell automation scripts (including large-scale scripts of 500 lines)

• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SCCM task sequences

• Manage and support Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for OS imaging and deployments

• Support and maintain virtualization environments using Hyper-V

• Perform server provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting in lab environments

• Manage and support HP servers, including hardware monitoring and remote management using iLO

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve automation, deployment, and system reliability

• Participate in onsite lab work as required

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Windows Administrator / Windows Engineer

• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills with proven automation experience

• Hands-on experience with SCCM, including task sequences

• Experience with MDT for Windows deployments

• Working knowledge of Hyper-V virtualization

• Experience supporting Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11

• Familiarity with HP server hardware and iLO

• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex issues

• Must be local to Marlboro, MA and able to work onsite when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in lab or test environments

• Strong documentation and communication skills

• Background in enterprise infrastructure or engineering teams
