Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AWS IVR Engineer to design, develop, and support cloud-based telephony solutions using the AWS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Amazon Connect and related AWS services to build scalable, AI-powered IVR systems that enhance customer experience and optimize call handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IVR solutions using Amazon Connect
- Develop serverless backend logic using AWS Lambda (Python/Node.js)
- Integrate conversational AI using Amazon Lex
- Build and manage APIs using API Gateway
- Work with DynamoDB and S3 for data storage and management
- Integrate telephony systems using SIP/VoIP technologies
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance IVR workflows
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js
- Good understanding of IVR systems and call flows
- Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, and speech recognition technologies
- Experience with Amazon Lex or similar chatbot/NLU tools
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in AI-driven conversational IVR systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Prior experience working in onsite client environments
