6-12 Month Contract Position
Location - Remote
We are seeking an experienced ETL / Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools—preferably DataStage—and is comfortable working independently while collaborating within Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to support data integration and transformation across multiple data sources
- Build and optimize workflows using DataStage or similar ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Ab Initio)
- Collaborate with architects and team members in design discussions and participate in code reviews, contributing practical and scalable solutions
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries to support data processing and validation
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all ETL processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues; provide production support as needed
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and drive tasks through to completion with minimal guidance
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on ETL/ELT development experience
- Strong expertise in DataStage (preferred) or equivalent tools such as Informatica or Ab Initio
- Proven experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale data integration pipelines
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or Teradata
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions on time
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Azure data services, including Synapse Analytics and Notebooks
- Experience supporting ETL processes in production environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based data architectures and modern data platforms

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($60-$63/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. A range of medical, dental, retirement and/or other benefits are available after a waiting period.
