Warehouse Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Perform and document all receiving and shipping, stocking, packing, repacking and additional warehouse functions.• Operate industrial truck to client trucks in a timely and accurate manner without causing any damage.• Prepare and document ingredients and packing materials for the production as instructed by the production side or Warehouse Manager.• Perform to receive, ship and store various materials and ingredients from/to warehouse, storage freezer and/or cooler. Delivery to plant department as requested.• Conduct warehouse and freezer inventory periodically as scheduled.• Report daily food safety, food quality and employee safety problems to immediate supervisor.Supportive Duties and Responsibilities • Organize, grounds keeping of warehouse, storage freezer and/or cooler after shipments to ensure a clean work environment.• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that all company safety policies and procedures are followed. • Report any accidents and near misses to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.• Maintain attentiveness to unknown vehicles, drivers, and visitors within warehouse.• May be required to assist and rotate to other plant personnel positions in daily duties.• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements* High School Diploma* Conversational English Skills* Communication/Interpersonal Skills* Forklift Certification* Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs* Ability to bend, stoop and reach* Ability to operate heavy equipment* Ability to stand for extended periods of time* Excellent vision or the use of prescribed lenses* Ability to work extended hours, as required Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of the employee encounter while performing the essential and supportive functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly near moving mechanical parts. Also, working under extremely hygienic, high humidity, cold or hot conditions on slippery floor.
