The Team Leader Production is responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficient team coordination, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. This role manages teams ranging from small to large sizes and operates within production environments of varying complexity. The Team Leader drives performance improvement, monitors key production metrics, and leverages tools such as ERP systems and production scheduling software to optimize operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to meet output volume targets and maintain quality standards
- Coordinate and lead teams of 5 to 20 members across simple to complex production environments
- Implement and enforce quality control and safety compliance procedures
- Develop and manage production schedules using appropriate software tools
- Monitor performance metrics including defect rate, downtime, and safety incidents
- Train and develop team members to enhance skills and productivity
- Manage resources effectively to ensure smooth production flow
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement problem-solving strategies
- Maintain clear communication across teams and report on production status and issues
