Role Overview
ISSI is seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager – New Client Acquisition to join its Strategic Alliances team.
This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring net-new clients across the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, Cloud, ISV, and broader technology services sectors. The successful candidate will lead strategic business development initiatives focused on opening new markets, establishing executive relationships, and securing long-term client engagements.
This is a high-impact hunter role requiring a proven ability to develop opportunities from inception through contract execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong executive presence, deep industry relationships, and a solid understanding of partner ecosystems, channel strategies, and technology go-to-market models.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition (Primary Responsibility)
- Identify, target, engage, and acquire net-new clients across AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, ISV, and technology services organizations.
- Develop and execute account acquisition strategies for priority target organizations.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers, including leaders of partner organizations, channel executives, CIOs, CTOs, and business-unit stakeholders.
- Own the complete business development lifecycle, from prospect identification and engagement through proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Consistently develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with ISSI's growth objectives.
Strategic Business Development
- Develop market-entry and account-penetration strategies focused on expanding ISSI's presence within target industries.
- Identify opportunities where ISSI's partner enablement, capability validation, and ecosystem optimization services can create measurable business value.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize strategic growth opportunities and target accounts.
- Drive business development initiatives that contribute to long-term market expansion and revenue growth.
Consultative Solution Development
- Engage prospective clients to understand the challenges of building, managing, scaling, and optimizing partner ecosystems.
- Position ISSI's services as strategic solutions that improve partner effectiveness, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen market reach.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop compelling value propositions and tailored client solutions.
- Present executive-level business cases demonstrating the value of partner program transformation, capability assessments, and enablement initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement
- Maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends across AI, Cybersecurity, Cloud, ISV, and partner ecosystem markets.
- Provide market feedback and competitive insights to support service innovation and business strategy.
- Represent ISSI at industry events, conferences, webinars, and executive forums to strengthen market visibility and generate business opportunities.
- Build and leverage industry networks to identify new opportunities and strategic relationships.

Qualifications
Required
- 8 years of experience in strategic business development, enterprise sales, consulting, alliances, or partner ecosystem roles within technology, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, or IT services organizations.
- Demonstrated success in acquiring net-new enterprise clients and developing strategic business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of:
- AI and emerging technology markets
- Cybersecurity ecosystems
- Cloud hyperscaler environments (Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- ISV and technology partner ecosystems
- Channel partner and alliance business models
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives and C-level stakeholders.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

- MBA or advanced business and/or technology-related degree.
