Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Baker to join our team for out outlet as well as the restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods in accordance with established recipes and quality standards, while maintaining compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake breads, pastries, and other products to specification.
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and business demands.
Qualifications:
- Previous professional baking experience strongly preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to follow precise recipes and instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or baking certification a plus.
