ISN Corp is actively seeking Background Investigators to support a Federal Background Investigation Program. Investigators will conduct comprehensive federal background investigations in accordance with the federal agency and federal standards to support national security and public trust missions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct federal background investigations, including subject interviews and record reviews
- Perform interviews with references, employers, neighbors, and other sources
- Review and analyze records (criminal, employment, education, financial, and other public records)
- Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely written investigative reports
- Meet strict quality, timeliness, and compliance standards
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Use government-provided systems and adhere to investigative guidelines
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Work independently and manage multiple cases
- Proficiency with investigative reporting systems and Microsoft Office tools
Required Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of federal background investigation experience
- Must reside in California
