Position Summary
Back-End Workers at iSmash Souderton keep the operation running behind the scenes. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, teamwork, and staying active. You’ll reset rooms, handle heavy lifting, and ensure each guest’s experience is safe, clean, and ready to go.
Position Description
Back-End Workers focus on operational tasks with minimal customer interaction. You’ll prepare rage rooms, splatter rooms, and axe-throwing lanes, restock breakables, clean up after sessions, and support the front-end team by keeping everything running efficiently. This position is primarily part-time with weekend-heavy scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Reset rage rooms, splatter rooms, and axe-throwing lanes between sessions
- Handle consistent heavy lifting, including glass, electronics, and breakables
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
- Restock materials and prepare items for customer use
- Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and general facility upkeep
- Communicate with front-end staff to ensure smooth session flow
- Support special events and high-volume days
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliability and attention to detail
- Weekend availability required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Hours: Flexible, Part-time; primarily weekends with 1–2 weekday shifts
Pay: $15 - $18 per hour, depending on experience
