ISM is looking for a Director of Portfolio Management  to join our team! Job Summary: 

The Director of Operations reports to the Vice President of Operations and is primarily responsible for supervising the day to day security operations of assigned Client sites. Additionally, the Director of Portfolio Management  will work directly the HR department to ensure Titan provides “Best-In-Class service” to our clients and our staff.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Security Officers, Site/Shift Supervisors, and  including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support.
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are
  • Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately
  • Conduct annual reviews on site staff.
  • Monitors the quality of staff performance including review of disciplinary actions,recommendations for suspension or termination as well as ensuring a regularperformance appraisal program for all staff
  • Coordinates and documents performance tracking of all staff personnel
  • Maintain and ensure the integrity of personnel files and workforce management systemsworking with Account Managers and HR department, as necessary
  • Support HR department in review of involuntary terminations including coordinating and conducting exit interviews, assisting with unemployment claims, union grievances and appeals
  • Supports Account Managers and HR in hiring, training and on-boarding
  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to all staff and jobapplicants
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents pertaining to personnel activities andaccount trends
  • Responsible for tracking company equipment in the field including technology, vehicles,etc. and ensuring company equipment is utilized in accordance with applicablepolicies
  • Stays current on federal, state and local guidelines relative our services
  • Supports the organization’s culture, processes, practices and systems to ensure that allemployees are given the opportunity to contribute to the business goals of thecompany and its clients
  • Prepare correspondence and memos as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelors Degree preferred. 5-7 years of management experience working in the security services industry with a large remote hourly workforce. Must have a working knowledge of security services operational functions.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to obtain a valid PERC.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Other Qualifications: Required skills include excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, excellent computer skills and ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Experience with workforce management systems and scheduling systems preferred. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands: Standard office environment.

Salary & Benefits: Base salary will be determined based on experience, plus discretionary year-end bonus, paid vacation and personal days, medical insurance, dental insurance, life and AD&D insurance, optional life and AD&D insurance, paid holidays, and 401(k) match.
