Position Overview:
Island Watersports is seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and reliable team members to join our guest services team. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth, professional check-in experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and high-energy manner
- Check in reservations and verify all waivers and safety documentation
- Assist customers with booking, modifying, and managing reservations
- Process payments accurately (cash and card)
- Answer questions and provide clear information about services and activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient check-in area
- Communicate effectively with dock staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong personality and excellent customer service skills are required
- Positive attitude, high energy, and ability to engage with customers
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must obtain and maintain:
- Boater’s License
- Livery Certificate
- CPR Certification
Schedule Expectations:
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Seasonal position (approximately 120 days)
Compensation:
- Hourly pay plus tips
- High-volume, team-oriented work environment with strong earning potential
