Position Overview:
Island Watersports is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join our dock operations team. This role is critical to daily operations and requires individuals who can work efficiently, follow safety procedures, and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload customer belongings safely and efficiently
- Conduct clear and professional safety briefings
- Operate boats and assist with jet ski operations
- Assist customers on and off vessels safely
- Fuel, clean, and maintain boats and equipment daily
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock environment
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Leadership Opportunity:
We are seeking 1–2 strong candidates to step into leadership roles, assisting with managing dock operations, guiding team members, and ensuring daily efficiency. Full-time availability preferred for leadership candidates.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable working outdoors in heat for extended periods
- Ability to lift 30–50 pounds regularly
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong communication skills and leadership potential
- Must have or be willing to obtain:
- Boater’s License
- Livery Certificate
- CPR Certification
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Schedule Expectations:
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Seasonal position (approximately 120 days)
Compensation:
- Hourly pay plus tips
- Opportunity for advancement into leadership roles
Pay: $120.00 per day
