The Program Manager will oversee the coordination and execution of various volunteer-based programs and services. Key responsibilities include volunteer recruitment, training, and support, as well as managing client services and ensuring program effectiveness. The Program Manager will maintain strong relationships within the community, track program metrics, and contribute to organizational growth. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Bainbridge Island, WA, requiring a hands-on approach and close collaboration with staff, volunteers, and community members.
- Program coordination and management experience, including organizing and supporting programs and events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with volunteers, clients, and community partners
- Volunteer recruitment and training expertise, including experience supporting and mentoring volunteers
- Administrative efficiency, including scheduling, record management, and data tracking
- Proficiency in using software tools, including Microsoft Office and CRM or volunteer management platforms
- Ability to assess client and community needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- A commitment to community service, compassion, and supporting vulnerable populations
- Experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
