Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Juice Bar Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthy living and be knowledgeable about various fruits, vegetables, and supplements used in various menu items. As a Juice Bar Attendant, you are responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and other beverages. Your duties include greeting customers, taking orders, operating juicers and blenders, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area, and processing payments. You must have a friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a passion for healthy living. Additionally, you should be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with team members, and adhere to food safety guidelines and company policies.
General Accountabilities:
- Customer Service: Greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Food Preparation: Preparing and blending fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipes.
- Menu Knowledge: Providing information about ingredients, nutritional benefits, and menu options to customers.
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including equipment and storage areas, and following food safety guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring and restocking ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Upselling: Suggesting additional items or upgrades to enhance the customer experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with coworkers to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.
- Adherence to Policies: Following company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role may be beneficial but not always required.
- Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to reach for specific objects at short distances in local working areas.
- On occasion may be required to lift and carry heavy objects, push or pull heavy objects; kneel, bend or stoop, and ascend or descend ladders or stairs.
- Capable of working in a fast paced environment and in stressful situations. Must respond to multiple task interruptions and still provide service to internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.
