Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. We are paying $10 an hour cash daily. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
- Handle cash and manage cash drawers accurately.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding.
- Upsell products to increase sales and meet store targets.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and stocking shelves.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and restocking products as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, particularly in a grocery store environment.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus.
