Job Title: Warehouse/Parts Counter Associate
Location: Rochester, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Counter Associate to join our team in Rochester, NY. This individual will be responsible for supporting daily operations at the parts counter and warehouse, managing inventory, handling shipping/receiving tasks, and assisting customers both in person and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform shipping and receiving duties accurately and efficiently.
● Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory in the warehouse.
● Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory control processes.
● Use computer systems for order entry, inventory tracking, and parts lookup.
● Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate fulfillment of orders.
● Provide prompt and courteous assistance to customers at the parts counter and over the phone.
Requirements:
● Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (Customer Service, Shipping, Receiving, Forklift Operator, Parts Counter).
● Computer literacy (familiarity with inventory software is a plus).
● Strong organizational and communication skills.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
● High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Background in parts or inventory management.
● Experience in automotive, industrial, mechanical, or petroleum equipment parts supply environments.
