Retail Sales Associate (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Island Outfitters. In this role, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, support daily store operations, and help drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Support team goals and contribute to a positive shopping experience
What We’re Looking For
- Retail experience preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right person)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
- Flexible availability (weekend availability is a must)
- Ability to stand, lift, and move merchandise as needed
Schedule: 12–20 hours per week
