Retail Sales Associate (Part-Time)
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Island Outfitters Wakefield. In this role, you’ll deliver excellent customer service, support daily store operations, and help drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Support team goals and contribute to a positive shopping experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Retail experience preferred (but not required—we’ll train the right person).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliability.
- Flexible availability (weekend availability is a must).
- Ability to stand for 6 hours, lift, and move merchandise as needed.
- A positive attitude, the ability to multitask and attention to detail.
Schedule: 10–20 hours per week
