Job Summary
Island Communities is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Leasing Administrator to join our team. The Lease Administrator plays a crucial role in managing lease agreements and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. This position involves coordinating with various departments, handling administrative tasks related to leasing, and providing support in real estate management.
What you will do:
- Review and process lease agreements, ensuring all terms are accurately documented and adhered to.
- Coordinate with legal teams to address any contractual issues or disputes.
- Maintain accurate records of all leases, amendments, and related documentation.
- Assist in the negotiation of lease terms and conditions with management and tenants.
- Handle inquiries related to lease agreements, providing exceptional phone etiquette and customer service.
- Monitor compliance with lease terms and conditions, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a leasing role a plus.
- Experience in real estate doing administrative tasks, including contract management.
- Proficient in general administrative duties with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve favorable lease terms.
- Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication.
- Proficient in office software applications for documentation and reporting purposes, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook.
