What will you do?
The Property Manager plays a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that each community meets its presentation, operational, and financial goals. In addition, the Property Manager is responsible for attracting and serving residents, selling new and pre-owned manufactured homes and park models when needed.
The Property Manager’s responsibilities include:
- Manage and lead the Property Management function for three locations (Auburndale, Lake Wales and Lakeland area).
- Maintain the resources and assets of the property, including community buildings, amenities, and roads.
- Set high-quality standards and provide outstanding customer service to our residents.
- Respond promptly to potential residents, provide tours, and maintain a high occupancy rate.
- Ensure that the property remains clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing to maximize occupancy.
- Routinely inspect the entire property and its amenities and promptly report any issues to management.
- Build a sense of community and pride in the property.
- Work with tenants to collect rent, making sure all rules are followed, and ensuring the profitability of the community.
- Conduct evictions and documenting all financial transactions and delinquent accounts.
- Be available for any emergency that may arise at the property.
What we are looking for:
- 2 years of manufactured housing/multi-unit property management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in property management.
- Working knowledge of all applicable laws including but not limited to Fair Housing laws.
- Dynamic, outgoing, customer focused team member with a service first attitude.
- Detailed oriented, organized leader who meets deadlines
- Ability to work well on a team or individually
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Demonstratable experience with Backoffice and Rent Manager
