Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh and exciting for patrons
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs to management promptly
- Uphold responsible alcohol service practices by checking IDs and adhering to legal drinking age regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
- Assist in bar management duties including scheduling, training new staff, and maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with a strong knowledge of cocktail creation, wine selection, craft beer, and beverage recipes
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests enthusiastically
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Previous fine dining or hospitality experience is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience in beverage recipe development or mixology certifications is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
