Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a lively, friendly manner to enhance their experience and promote beverage sales.
• Manage POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations for billing, and manage cash handling procedures securely.
• Collaborate with the bar management team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours and special events like banquets or catering functions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry; fine dining or banquet experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS, along with excellent cash handling skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, craft beer experience, and brewing techniques.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using solid time management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for retail math and cashiering tasks.
• Experience with catering or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with food industry practices enhances your suitability for this role.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude to foster teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: From $5.25 per hour
