Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of cocktails, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with flair and accuracy, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drink options, and create personalized experiences that keep them coming back.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area by adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage POS systems such as Spot On POS for efficient order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to legal alcohol service regulations.
- Collaborate with team members during service shifts, including nightclubs or potential catering events, to deliver seamless customer service in high-energy settings.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service throughout the serving process.
- Assist in catering events or food service operations when required, supporting overall venue operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Mixologist or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or hospitality setting; fine dining experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Spot On POS and other POS for sales processing and cash handling.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety.
- Experience working in the food industry or retail environment is preferred; brewing or catering experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events such as banquets or nightlife functions.
