Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to engage with guests and provide exceptional service will be key to our success. MUST be available nights and weekend Day/Nights
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
- Process orders efficiently using the POS system, ensuring accurate billing.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
- Assist in setting up for events such as banquets or catering services as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role within the hospitality or food industry is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell drinks and menu items effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes, including cocktails commonly served in nightclubs or banquet settings.
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences.
- Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
