Our team of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, in collaboration with our Board-Certified Psychiatrist, offers comprehensive services including medication management, injectable treatments, Spravato nasal therapy, and substance use disorder treatment with Suboxone and Vivitrol. We serve a wide range of patient populations and age groups in a supportive, patient-centered environment.Position Overview:We are seeking a part-time, reliable, and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to join our team in Stroudsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be organized, professional, and able to manage a variety of administrative and patient support tasks to help ensure the smooth daily operation of our practice.Responsibilities:· Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner· Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments· Answer and direct phone calls; manage messages and emails· Maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical record (EMR) system· Verify insurance· Obtain prior authorizations· Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and external offices· Handle correspondence, forms, and confidential documents with discretion· Support medical staff with administrative tasks as neededQualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree preferred)· Previous experience in a medical office, preferably in behavioral health or psychiatry· Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification· Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite· Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills· Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalismBenefits:· Competitive salary based on experience· Supportive, collaborative work environmentHow to Apply:Please submit your resume and cover letter to isl6187@gmail.com.
