What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Engineer position at ISE LABS INC AND SUBSIDIARY?
Summary: Provides support in facilities’ projects and equipment with a concentration in electrical, HVAC and automated controls. Provide assistance to maintain building by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
- Perform preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment, chillers, process piping, vacuum, and compressed air systems.
- Plans projects focused on effectively utilizing space and resources to support the organization’s physical facilities.
- Prepares and reviews designs, layout plans, specifications, and standards that comply with building regulations, and organizational requirements.
- Estimates costs for labor, materials, and services.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Forklift usages as needed
- Schedules and remain in contact with Contractors and service workers.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering (electrical and or HVAC); or 5 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Requires considerable knowledge of: modern office methods and procedures; modern business English, spelling and arithmetic; the operations of common office machines and equipment.
- Requires considerable ability to: use good judgment in making routine decisions in accordance with existing laws, ordinances, regulations and departmental policies and procedures; establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with departmental personnel and customers.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments (multi-meter, refrigerant, pressure and vacuum gauges.
- Excellent communication skills.
- HVAC certified with relevant field experience.
- Experience working in clean rooms.
- Experience working with 480 volts AC, experience troubleshooting automated controls (ALC preferable) and the ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
May be required to obtain forklift certification. Refer to training matrix.

Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
