The Position:
ISC is currently seeking a positive, energetic Document Controls Clerk with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce.
Applicants should have the ability to:
- Document Control will be required to document and implement document management requirements.
- Maintain a computer database of all field documentation.
- Interact effectively with ISC management and other departments.
- Maintain proper communication and documentation between the office and the field.
- Perform clerical type duties to generate documents as necessary and update indexes.
- Timely distribute latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that the obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
- Support the QA/QC group with Quality records which includes but are not limited to the following:
- Electrical tests (continuity, megger, etc.)
- Inspection Reports/Records (IRs)
- Test Plans and Test Specifications
- Nonconformance Reports
- Acceptance Test Procedures/Reports
- Vendor Information
Qualifications:
- Must have proven experience in Document Controls.
- Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.
- Ability to work with diverse workforce in the department and company.
- Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong mindset especially in the areas of being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and energy
Prerequistes:
- Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicaable background checks.
- High ethical standards - unwilling to compromise on worker safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients
- Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.
- Reasonable ability to read drawings and interpret specifications and contract language.
- Strong verbal and written communication and technical translation.
