Warehouse Operations Manager

The Position:

We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager with experience and knowledge in electrical and instrument tools and equipment types, warehouse experience and the ability to drive and operate company-owned equipment. Associate will report to the Services Manager at our Baton Rouge Corporate campus. This is a leadership role with direct report responsibilities.

• Strong logistical skills and self-motivation are crucial to this role.

• Strong sense of commitment and sees issues and opportunities to a successful resolution.
• Enterprise software exposure or experience preferred.
• Has mechanical aptitude.
• Must have the ability to retain and apply new information quickly.
• Need to understand and apply department and company policies and procedures. Need to know the how and why.
• Understand basic business procurement processes.
• Take ownership and can see projects and tasks from beginning to end.
• Adaptable to an ever-changing work landscape.

·        DOT and CDL knowledge base.

• Direct the repairs and maintenance of storage containers, field offices, gang boxes, flammable storage boxes, portable shelters, litter pans, pulling ropes, etc.
• Assist in maintaining delivery vehicle and equipment records, licenses, and permits.
• Ensure that Drivers and other personnel maintain necessary OSHA training, CDL licenses, other permits, and driver logs.
• Independently research and study new equipment and tools for potential use.
• Coordinate equipment backorders with the rest of the team via backorder process.
• Offer suggestions on improving warehouse functions and efficiency.
• Maintains Tool Catalog for updates and revisions.
• Has strong inventory management skills and monitors equipment inventories at multiple locations.
• Perform other tasks as needed or instructed.

• Strong mindset especially in the areas of leadership, being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance, willingness to listen and learn, attention to detail, can-do attitude, sense of urgency and energy.
• Must have a current driver’s license and pass company performed MVR.
