The Position
We are looking for a Custodian to work on the campus of our corporate office in Baton Rouge. This position assists and works under the close supervision of the Facility Maintenance Manager in the performance of their duties by completing supportive type activities as directed
Summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, hallways, and stairs, vacuuming rugs, and dusting and cleaning glass in assigned buildings.

The Position
We are looking for a Custodian to work on the campus of our corporate office in Baton Rouge. This position assists and works under the close supervision of the Facility Maintenance Manager in the performance of their duties by completing supportive type activities as directed
Summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, hallways, and stairs, vacuuming rugs, and dusting and cleaning glass in assigned buildings.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking and unlocking doors after operating hours.
- Maintain building and grounds, inclusive of removing debris, cleaning, handling, and disposing of trash and moving tools and other work items to their appropriate locations.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties as required.
- Perform other tasks and activities assigned by supervision.
- Plan work and select proper tools and cleaning products.
- Compare and see differences in the size, shape and form of lines, figures and objects.
- Integrity in dealings with other associates and clients.
- Ability to work with other personalities in the department and company.
- Strong mindset especially in the areas of being a team player, dependable, attendance, willingness to work overtime, presentable dress and appearance,
