The Custodian is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment for employees, visitors, and clients. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Schedule: Full-time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Work Environment: On Site

- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout facilities for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds, with assistance as needed
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as needed to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment (e.g., vacuums, buffers) using manual dexterity
- Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to cleaning chemicals, with appropriate safety measures
- Ability to communicate effectively and identify/report safety hazards to supervisor
- Cleaning & Sanitization: Perform routine cleaning, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces and restrooms
- Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed
- Facility Maintenance: Complete minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and addressing basic maintenance issues
- Floor & Equipment Care: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including buffers and carpet cleaners
- Supply & Safety Management: Restock supplies, maintain outdoor areas as needed, and identify/report safety hazards to ensure a secure environment
Required Qaulifications:
- Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role
- Experience with maintenance and cleaning equipment
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous materials
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required
