Knowledge of changing bearings, sprockets, chains, seals, gaskets, inspection of mechanical systems and building equipment.
- Experience operating various hand and power tools.
- HVAC & boiler experience a plus.
- Electrical experience a plus.
- Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting electrical controls.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance.
- Experience in food production/manufacturing desired.
- The ability to complete assigned work without supervision.
- Able to complete work orders on a daily basis.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Willing to work in a cold environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
