This role is located at our NYC Corporate Office.

Overview:

The Public Relations Specialist will provide essential support to the PR department by aiding in the execution of VIP/talent relations, events, and public relations activities. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of PR initiatives and maintaining brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in PR Strategy Execution:

· Support the PR Manager in implementing PR strategies to sustain and boost brand visibility in alignment with the global objectives from Paris headquarters.

Media:

· Pitch digital and long lead coverage in alignment with business and image strategies.

· Build and maintain media relationships to ensure stronger coverage and awareness of brand priorities.

· Keep PR distribution lists up to date.

VIP:

· Collaborate with the PR Manager on all aspects of celebrity and influencer gifting initiatives.

· Compile and report VIP placements and gifting activities to Isabel Marant HQ.

Management:

· Hire, train and oversee seasonal interns in partnership with PR assistant

Sample Coordination:

· Manage press and talent sample requests and product dispatches for North, South and Central American markets, as well as international shoots organized by Paris HQ occurring in NY.

· Organize, track and manage showroom samples using LaunchMetrics.

· Inventory incoming collections and ensure accurate record-keeping.

· Contribute to seasonal PR order

Showroom Support:

· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showrooms, performing regular checks and daily upkeep to ensure an optimal environment for all collections.

· Reporting

· Work closely with PR Manager to prepare media and VIP reports

· Assist in the preparation and support of monthly “Best of” presentations for internal teams.

Event Assistance:

· Lead seasonal press days and support in the planning and execution of events in the US, press days, store openings, fittings and brand events.

· Collaborate with PR Manager and Paris HQ on outreach for runway shows.

Credit Request Processing:

· Oversee credit request distribution by PR assistant, ensuring accuracy of price and product descriptions using internal software.

Qualifications:

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

· Previous experience in PR, fashion, or a related field is beneficial.

· A proactive attitude with a willingness to support various tasks and learn new skills.
