Senior HVAC Service Technician

Job Description:

Rebmann Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Senior HVAC Service Technician for their Port Washington, NY location, only servicing within Long Island. The ideal candidate will already have HVAC work experience and be able to perform repair/maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner.

Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Services all equipment according to an established service schedule and company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
• Interact with homeowners to educate, build relationships, and understand and address their HVAC concerns.
• Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy and submits daily.
• Builds and maintains customer relations in the field to ensure excellent customer service and enhances the company's image.
• Follows all safety procedures, including following all safe driving habits and not utilizing mobile devices in vehicles.
• Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training/education as appropriate.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 5 years of heating experience
• EPA – Universal Certification
• Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

The starting hourly base wage for this position is $35 to $40. This is the range of the base pay only, it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position. If offered a position, your total compensation package will be determined by experience, location, skills, and/or education which may result in a total compensation package that falls outside of the provided range.
